Data Transfer or Bandwidth

Whenever a first-time visitor views your web site, data is tranferred from your server to their computer. Similarly, every time a browser 'refreshes' one of your web pages, data is transferred. The number of data transfers per month is known as your Data Transfer Allowance or Bandwidth. For example if one of your web pages is 20 kilobytes in size (KB) and the images that are on that page are 90 KB then if someone visits your page they will use 110 KB of data. Your data transfer allowance is in gigabytes (GB), there are 1 billion bytes in 1 GB.
