THE
PROVINCES OF AFGHANISTAN |
|
 |
Currently there are 34 seperate
provinces within Afghanistan...
Badakhshan, Badghis, Baghlan, Balkh,
Bamian, Daykondi, Farah, Faryab, Ghazni,
Ghowr, Helmand, Herat, Jowzjan, Kabol,
Kandahar, Kapisa, Khowst, Konar, Kondoz,
Laghman, Lowgar, Nangarhar, Nimruz,
Nurestan, Oruzgan, Paktia, Paktika,
Panjshir, Parvan, Samangan, Sar-e
Pol, Takhar, Vardak, and Zabol.
Historically there were 30 provinces
but there is very little that can
be found about them on the Net. Have
found one site that mentions them
but provides little information...
